Aashima is a graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and a graduate of NYU, her LL.M. in Corporation Law at NYU School of Law. She is admitted to practice in India.
Ms. Bhatia is engaged by Ramseyer & Associates PC under a contractual agreement, in connection with and related to her LL.M. studies at NYU Law School, and consistent with her F-1 OPT employment authorization, with the engagement structured to align with applicable Bar Council of India professional obligations and relevant SEVP guidance.

With over four years of practice at premier law firms in India, Aashima brings extensive transactional experience and a global perspective to the firm’s corporate practice. Graduated from NYU, her LL.M. in Corporation Law at New York University School of Law, Aashima focused her academic research on restructuring, information privacy, and environmental transactional law. She actively contributed to the legal community as a Staff Editor for the NYU Environmental Law Journal and as the LL.M. Representative for the Law & Business Association.
Prior to joining Ramseyer & Attorneys P.C., Aashima practiced at top-tier commercial law firms in India, where she advised on high-value private equity and venture capital transactions. Her sector expertise includes renewable energy, infrastructure, electric mobility, and education. She has successfully guided clients through the full transaction lifecycle, from deal structuring and strategic due diligence to negotiation and execution.
In recognition of her expertise in sustainable development finance, she was also selected as an International Finance and Development Fellow with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Fall 2025.
